Can anyone tell me when you are going to put the Samsung instinct up as an option. I have one and I can't choose it as my phone to send myself anything... Please let me know as soon as possible...
i have the samsung instinct and wenever i click send to phone it says sent complete or watever.. but i never recieve the message and i have the button recive text messages on!!... i dont no wat to do can someone help me pleaseeee asappp!!!

First thing to do is select your phone on here as the Samsung Upstage and then add your cell number.
Next go to http://3gforfree.com/web/node/add/ringtone
You can get there by going to My Account > My Ringtones and over on the upper right, clicking "Create new ringtones"
Now you are on the Submit Ringtone page. If you have not already
edited your MP3 down to 30 seconds or so, you can use the time marker
down at the bottom for beginning and end. It's better to edit it with
something like Audacity or Adobe Audition... but this will also work.
Give it a title and description if you like... title and category are required
though. Browse and locate your MP3 and then click the Submit button.
If you have already selected your phone as a Samsung Upstage and
added in your number, you can go ahead and do SEND TO MY PHONE on the
next page.
Now wait a few seconds and you will see a text message pop up on
your Instinct. Drag the message to VIEW. Tap the link and then tap the
BROWSE button.
This will open up the Instinct's web browser. Once there you will see a Download link. Click it.
After you click the Download link, there will be a Sprint warning pop up. Select Continue Download.
You will see a little progress bar popup as the download begins.
When completed and successful, there will be message window that
tells you that you can now assign your ringer in Settings > Ringers
or by going to Contacts.
That's all there is to it.
REMEMBER! It's important to set your phone as the SAMSUNG UPSTAGE until they get the Instinct listed it.
I followed step by step your guide and when I try to send the mp3 file to my phone I get this "Your phone does not support this type of file" message and I can't. I did not skip any of your recomendation, I don't know what to do

My instinct recieves ringtones with no problem but my sisiter has a hard time with hers to. Make sure your connected to the web on your phone.

well if you use the "Samsung MM-A900" as your phone you can receive all your stuff you want for your Instinct.

i uploaded an mp3 ringtone, 16 seconds, selected upstage, then when i hit send to phone it says its not supported, great.

I got the phone yesterday. I can't wait to personalize it. It is very strange to not know when your phone is ringing.
